sunset. day 16

I love sunsets, I moved from NC when I was 9 into the Shenandoah valley and loved watching the sunset while on the mountains. Now I live in the "flat lands" and can see the sunset from about anywhere (as long as there aren't a gabillion trees or buildings in the way.) Last night the sky was shades of blue and pink and the clouds were wispy like cotton candy.

something i have always loved, abstract art. i have always admired water droplet pics, well now, i have made my own!!

fresh veggies, i could seriously eat my lunch (ok all three meals) in a garden

food! i seriously love food, i love to eat food, cook food, photograph food, smell food, i.love.food.

dragonflies, there is just something about dragonflies. i love them, i also love dragons and snapdragons.

totally self explanatory.

i know i said storms the other day but i really do love them, so for a change we will say lightning.

my first born eyes, the first eyes to look at me with unconditional love, to call me "mom"

Day 7. Zinna

I lost my Grandaddy in October of last year. We traveled down to NC to see my family and in my Mamaw's graden were Zinnas. When I was little I used to go over there and plant Zinnas with Mamaw and Grandaddy. It really brought back great memories.

Day 6. Tweetsie

Thursday I was driving all day so I have to skip it and Jump to Friday.

When I was little I used to go to this place called Tweetsie Railroad, it is in Blowing Rock NC. I always had a ball every time we went. This year we got to go again and take the kids. It was just as much fun now as it was then...

Day 5.

Well, I lost internet on Wednesday night and then headed out of town Thursday morning so I am catching up today :)

STORMS!!!

I absolutely love storms. I used to hate them and be scared to death of them but now, I am infatuated with them. I would love to be a storm chaser.

When I was little I used to love storms I used to lay in the hammock with my Dad and watch them. We also used to get on his shoulders and have to run out and touch the tree in the front yard before lightning struck.
