Summertime is my absolute favorite time of the year. When I was little My Grandparents used to take me to pick strawberries at the local strawberry farm. Now we have 5 small strawberry plants that produce about 10-12 strawberries a day only Avery and I eat them but all 5 of us enjoy running out to see how many red ones are on the plant each day!
This blog is a bit different. It is more for me than it is for you, but you gain too. You get to watch my life 1 day at a time through 1 picture at a time. I am doing a 365 day challenge to help myself savor the days of life. Life really flies by in the blink of an eye and we seem to forget simple things that happen each day. This will also give me a lot of practice with my camera as well!.

Day 3.
Today is a simple day. After running for weeks on end we are at home doing simply nothing today. I put a huge roll of paper out gave the kids some paint and let them have at it. The kitchen is currently a disaster with paint, water and paper and I don't even care. They are having the time of their life!
Avery hasn't quite gotten the hang of cleaning the brush before dipping but it gave me a nice little picture. All the colors living happily together in blobs.
If you look even closer there is a nice little surprise in the pink paint.
The man in the moon :)

Day 2. Brokenness.
There is always a time in one's life where they feel less than perfect. Sometimes we feel broken, we feel less that handsome or beautiful. When in actuality there is someone that actually thinks we are beautiful or handsome. No matter how broken we are, how pimpled our face, how fat our belly, how grey our hair we are still so beautiful.
I saw this flower amongst hundreds of perfect flowers however this one to me was perfect, it was broken yet still so picture perfect.

Day 1.
Today (actually Saturday) We went to Kings Dominion. It was the first entire day I spent without Gavin and although I had a total blast watching the other 2 kids have fun I missed that little booger.
Anyway. The photo I decided for today is simple and not the best shot ever but it speaks volumes to me.
I am scared to death of the Carousel but I am so in love with them. When I was small (like so small I don't know what REALLY happened) I fell of or almost fell off a Merry-go-round. For my entire life I have had this nightmare where I fall into the center of the carousel I can hear the music and see the lights spinning but I roll under the floor of the carousel. Now, as I am older I physically cannot ride the thing because I get sick on anything that goes round and round. I have always been infatuated with them, the beauty, antiquity, the nostalgia of it all. It is a place where young and old can come together, everyone smiles at the carousel, everyone laughs at the carousel. Men ride with their children with no fear of ridicule, teenagers, elders, everyone rides the carousel.

My life in pictures.
So I have started another blog, you know, since I am so good at keeping up with the first one :D.
